Spanish
Our students learn Spanish for speaking, listening, and writing. They connect what they learn with real-world experiences. They see how knowing another language can help them understand another culture and better communicate with people from around the world. Our goal is for our students to go beyond learning Spanish as just a subject and become comfortable using it in real life. They practice by speaking with friends, singing songs, and reading books.
Music
Our music class gives students exciting experiences where they explore the basics of music, try different instruments, use technology, and express themselves creatively. Teachers guide students step-by-step. They help them create, perform, enjoy music, and build their appreciation and skill. Our students learn about rhythm, melody, and how sounds blend to make music. Through group performances, they learn to work together and gain confidence on stage.
Art
Our students work with different materials to learn techniques and make art. Our teachers guide them in building skills like creative thinking and problem-solving. Our students start to see the connections between art, history, and other subjects. They explore color, shapes, and textures, and find new ways to express themselves. By making and talking about art, they grow to appreciate and understand the world around them. Our students feel excited to share their work with others.
Physical Education
Our students learn about the importance of staying active and making healthy choices for a happy and balanced life. They practice making good choices for self-expression and positive social interactions. Our students do activities like running, jumping, and team sports to build their strength and balance. By working with each other, they also learn teamwork and how to support their friends. These skills help our students feel confident and strong as they grow.
Technology
We use technology to find, sort, and share information. Our students learn skills such as coding, typing, and using tools like word processors, spreadsheets, and graphics. They also learn how to be responsible with technology, as they work with others and use their digital skills to explore new ideas. Our students see how these tools can help them solve everyday problems. As they explore, they gain the confidence needed to take on more advanced skills.
